Wow! Seeing confirmation of the Lord’s Word always gives me the feels. Since my last post two days ago, a friend contacted me with a “re” word that showed up on her facebook feed.
Today, it hit me that the word she saw was mostly likely a word from Him . It was her
“re” word and maybe you, too, will be given one. So, if you see any “re” words go to Him in prayer and ask Him is it for you and wait for an answer. (1 John 4:1)
Then, another sweet friend of mine Reyna (check out her encouraging prophetic words here ) sent me the link to this story:
A quick synopsis of the story is a brother visiting his sister witnessed her dog being snatched up by an eagle. They thought the dog was a goner after searching and finding no sign of the pup. Then, lo and behold, the little furbaby turns up four miles away alive and well. Feel good story, right? Sure, they say it’s a miracle and that’s great news, but what’s so confirming about that?
Well, it’s in the details. Those with eyes to see… The pup was snatched up by a predator (see Job 9:26 or the treacherous serpent who lures in Genesis 3). Then, there’s Wizard of Oz reference that made me chuckle… Dorothy being snatched up by a storm??? (See also previous post “Leaving Oz”) Then, Zoey (in Greek means “life” as in spiritual life not the bios form of life) is dropped “a full four miles away”. Four is a Hebrew number of completeness and for some represents a door. So after going on a full complete journey is found on some back roads (wilderness) by a woman named Christina (derived from the Hebrew word “Messiah” meaning follower of Christ). The 8 lb. Bichon Frise (8 = resurrection) is revived after a little TLC from Christina and through the open door that is social media is found and returned home to her owners. Sounds quite similar to the story of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32) to me!
As I was looking for the link online to post the story, I also came across this one:
Another lost pooch! Eagles, illustrative of God’s care in this case (see Deuteronomy 32:11), helped find this one! I’m happy to say, she, too, after about two days, is back home! What stands out about this to me is how I was just reading last night in Genesis 41 that after two years Joseph is remembered and called forth to interpret a dream for Pharaoh. In verse 32 it says “The reason the dream was given to Pharaoh in two forms is that the matter has been firmly decided by God, and God will do it soon.” You may scoff at these lost dog and eagle stories and think I’m reaching, but my heart is leaping! I want to give the Lord His due Glory! The lost are coming home! Praise the Lord! Talk about hope! 2018 is off to a wondrous start!
Oh and it’s snowing here. Sometimes a goose just ain’t a goose and snow just ain’t atmospheric water vapor frozen into ice crystals and falling in light white flakes or lying on the ground as a white layer. Sometimes, it’s a…
“Praise the LORD! Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.” (Psalm 106:1)
